Pastor of Congregational Care
God drew me close to him at a young age and in my preteens I felt the call on my life to be a pastor, however God had a longer road to this than I did and God’s ways always supersede ours. God first lead me through the funeral industry and the first college I graduated from was a mortuary college where I spent over 10 years in the funeral industry before he lead me into 30 years of management in manufacturing facilities.
Today he has called me to serve the congregation of Calvary Church as the Pastor of Congregational Care. My undergraduate work was done at Governors State University and I was ordained by Christian Leaders Institute where I hold a Commissioned Pastoral Diploma.
I am privileged to serve the Chicago Classis of the Reformed Church as the Stated Clerk of Classis.
My wonderful wife Diane married me over 40 years ago and we have traveled this more perfect path God has laid before us together. We have 2 adult sons and 3 grandchildren.
Through all the turmoil of life out of Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God” has helped me more and more put God at the center and sovereign of my life.
