Explore God Family Devotionals (January 13-February 24, 2019)
These devotionals were created using the Explore God For Kids curriculum. Our prayer is to take your family on a weekly journey during the next 7 weeks to explore God together. Each week discusses one question along with a Biblical Truth and a Life Truth. Some options of working through these devotionals are to either complete the week in one sitting, do a couple at a time, or spread them throughout the week. May your family be blessed as you explore these questions of faith together.
KidsLife Family Devotional / Bible Challenge
In the LOFT, we use the curriculum ‘The Gospel Project’ by Lifeway. Over the past two years, the kids have journeyed through the Old Testament seeing how all the stories point to Jesus. We have begun the New Testament this fall.
In Tiny Town, we follow ‘The Jesus Storybook Bible.’ Once again, we are taking the kids through the entire Bible at their age level.
Amongst the daily hassles of life, we need to meet with Jesus during the week. We need, as a family, to focus on Him, to pray together, to discuss the Bible together. If you struggle with finding this time, we are offering up a challenge for your family. We know you want more for your family’s faith walk, we want it with our own families, we just let everything else take priority first. So, let’s start simple and try something together.
Below are our weekly devotionals that match our weekly lessons in the LOFT. If you would like to receive these weekly via text, email email@example.com to sign up.
If your kids are still young and in Tiny Town, reading through various children’s Bibles is a great way to get started with your family devotional time. Check out our Revelations Book Store in the Gathering Place to see what we offer, or shop online.
Challenge yourselves to find time at bed or during a meal to read together as a family. You will be amazed at the way God will bless your family through this time together with Him!
