Calvary Church is excited to host WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE! This will be a great time for the entire family to come to church TOGETHER and learn. We're trying to restore the concept of koinonia, a Greek term found in the New Testament that can translate to words like community, communion, joint participation, sharing and intimacy. This concept first appears in the Bible in Acts 2 in describing the early church: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the communion, to the breaking of bread and to prayer...All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need...They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people."

So, with this great concept as our example, we're going to eat dinner as a family and then fellowship and learn together!

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY:

Family Dinner 5:45 - 6:30 p.m.
Join us for dinner as we all eat together as a family in the Gym! Meals vary every week.

FOR KIDS:

GEMS & Cadets 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.*
GEMS and Cadets will alternate Wednesdays. Cadets will meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday while GEMS will meet on the 2nd & 4th. If there is a fifth Wednesday both groups will be combined for activities. Find out more about Cadets here and GEMS here!

* On GEMS nights, there will be a program for boys only from 7-8:30 in the multi-purpose room. Conversely, on Cadet nights, there will be a program for girls only from 7-8:30 in the multi-purpose room

Digging Deeper 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Get ready to discover the apostle Peter. You'll discover who Peter was, and how he grew in character and discipleship through his travels with Jesus. Not only will you read about Peter's experiences with Jesus, you'll also get to hear his teachings and writings from 1 and 2 Peter. This Bible study, led by Bill & Susie Moore and Chris & Deanne Bekermeier, is for both men and women.
