Our ministries could not strive without our amazing servants! It’s an honor to work alongside any volunteer in KidsLife Ministries. If you have a passion for working with children and connecting them to Jesus Christ, we would love to have you join our team! The time commitment can vary depending on the KidsLife program you want to serve in. Check out the opportunities below:
Sunday Mornings
Tiny Town
Choose your age group, service time, and commitment time
Age Groups: Infants & Crawlers; Toddlers & 2’s; 3’s & 4’s
Service Time: 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
Commitment Time: Every other month, once a month, or as often as every week! Or even sign up for the substitute list!
The Loft
Small Group Leaders and Assistants
Choose your age group, service time, and commitment time
Age Groups: 5’s & Kindergarten; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th
Service Time: 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
Commitment Time: Every week as a Small Group Leader or Assistant or sign up to be on the Substitute list.
Large Group Leader / Drama / Worship
Various positions are available at both service times; you would be scheduled on a rotating basis.
Greeter / Check-In and Out
Welcome the families and help with the kiosk check-in systems!
Choose your service time: 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. You would be scheduled on a rotating basis.
A/V Tech Team
Choose your service time: 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. You would be scheduled on a rotating basis.
Buddy Zone
Be paired with a special needs child who can be mainstreamed in the Sunday school classes or receive care in the Buddy Zone room. See here for more details regarding this program. Training and shadowing provided.

Wednesdays
Mornings
Provide childcare in Tiny Town every Wednesday, 9-11 a.m., September-May
Evenings
GEMS or Cadets, The Hangout with 2nd-8th graders, or Tiny Town with Infants-1st grade
1st and 3rd Fridays of the month
Moppets
Provide childcare in Tiny Town from 9-11 a.m., September-May. Learn more here.
Occasional Activities / Events
This can be a one-time event you help serve at or you can commit to several events.
Examples: Parents' Night Out, Family Fun Day, Community Mission Projects, Fundraisers, Concerts, etc.
Serving Requirements:
For the safety of our children we ask that all volunteers over the age of 18 be attending Calvary for at least six months or have been recommended and approved by a ministry leader. When you show your desire to serve, we ask that you fill out a Volunteer Application form. This will ask personal and spiritual information and will request references and authorization for a criminal background check. While these forms are being processed, the KidsLife Ministries Director and the ministry leader of the specific program you are interested in would like to meet with you to get to know you more and talk about the perfect fit for you. We will then schedule your volunteer orientation, which includes going through the Volunteer Handbook and assigning you to shadow another volunteer or leader.
Youth, ages 13 and older, can also volunteer in our ministries. They can fill out a Volunteer Teen Covenant Form and will also undergo the volunteer interview and orientation process.
