KidsLife Ministries NEW BOOK EXCHANGE program!
Thanks to the donations of Noah Luke's mom, Sherry Riemersma, we now have a great collection of books and videos to share with you. The idea is to "Bring a book, take a book," like the adult section outside of Calvary's Bookstore. We will have a cart outside of The Loft where your child can bring an unwanted book/video and exchange it with an item on the cart. There will even be labels available to add to the item you are adding to the cart. If you have an ample supply of unwanted books/videos in your home, bring them in! We will clean and tag them for you and add them to our cart. Thanks for the donations and happy exchanging!!!

May—Community Mission Project
4th Sunday Family Worship
During the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services!
Children are part of our church family and we share responsibility for nurturing their spiritual needs. We embraced this role at their baptism. By worshiping together with our children on the 4th Sunday of every month, we pass on our traditions of praising God through the sacraments, music, proclaiming and hearing the good news, and offering our gifts and prayers. The Loft kids will not only join their families in the worship services, but they will also have the opportunity to serve by greeting, ushering, reading the Scripture and participating in Praise and Worship time.
Special Needs Family Fun Night
Coming in 2012!
We will host a Family Fun Night for families with children who have special needs. This will be a time for fellowship with other families and great fun for the kids! More details to come!
Ribbon Troupe
Do you love to dance? Do you love to praise God? So why not do both with Calvary Church Ribbon Dance Troupe! This is a ministry for the young ladies of Calvary Church who are in grades 4th through 6th. We perform several times through the year, including performances during select Sunday services, praising God with beautiful and respectful music and movement telling Him just how thankful we are to be His. If you are interested, please contact either Alicia Bonnema at 708.670.6198 or Lisa Bonnema at 708.670.6280 for more information.
Biddy Basketball
If your child enjoys playing sports, enroll them in our Biddy Basketball program! Our coaches will teach kids how to play basketball along with good sportsmanship. Practice usually takes place one evening each week and league games are played on Saturday mornings. Both the girls' biddy and junior teams practices on Thursdays. Go here for more information.
Church Camp

Calvary Church works closely with Camp Manitoqua, a Christian camp in nearby Frankfort, IL. You can learn more about Manitoqua here: www.manitoqua.org. Promotion for the summer camps begins in January / February at Calvary. See Tiffany Johnston, KidsLife Ministries Director, for more information or how to receive camp scholarships.

With a full summer of camp, you will develop lasting friendships as you learn about God and His story and share in the many fun and dynamic experiences of the Day Camp community.
Explorer Camp (Pre-K to 6th grade)
Pick a week, or two or three! Whether you are heading to the Aquatic Center or to the tree climbing tree, a week of Explorer Day Camp will fit in as many classic camp activities as possible. Campfires, dynamic Bible lessons, dirt boarding, a giant slip-n-slide, games, and arts and crafts all help to create a high energy week of fun and community.
Overnight Camp for 2nd to 12th grade
Whether you are sleeping in triple high bunks, conquering team challenges, or hanging out in a tree with your cabin, you will be immersed in an environment that encourages friendship and discovering who you are in Jesus Christ.
Mission Projects
Through community projects, special Sunday offering collections, Operation Christmas Child, and Compassion International's Sponsor a Child, the children at Calvary are actively serving their Lord both inside and outside the church walls!
